Who Should Apply?

The Doctors On Board Program and Internship is an innovative and exciting opportunity for underrepresented minority (URM) students who are African American/Black, Native/Indigenous American Indian, Hispanic/Latino  and want to become medical doctors. Students who are in high school, pre-med, college/university/gap year, community college students and post-baccalaureate students are encouraged to apply. NOTE: African American/Black and Native American/Indigenous students are strongly encouraged to apply.

We are no longer taking student applications for this program. Any applications or responses received after 5pm on March 22, 2024 will not be accepted. Thank you for your interest. Please try again next year.

Parents/Family of Future Doctors Workshop (In-Person)

Date: April 7, 2024
1:00 to 3:00 PM

As an integral part of the team that inspires and prepares students for their goal and journey of becoming future doctors, the Physicians Medical Forum (PMF) invites you to attend the Virtual Parents/Family Workshop for Future Doctors to be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024. The workshop will help to provide you with a better understanding your student’s journey to becoming a doctor and how you can be supportive.

Each student accepted into the program can have family members attend this workshop. Must be 21 years are older to attend.

Upon receiving your confirmation of acceptance as a student in the Doctors On Board Program and Internship, you will receive an additional email for your parents/family to register for the Workshop for Parents/Family of Future Doctors.
