About Physicians Medical Forum

The Physicians Medical Forum (PMF) was established in 2002. Our mission is to encourage and inspire the education, training, and resources for recruitment and retention of African-American/Black and underrepresented minority physicians; and to provide an infrastructure and support for them to succeed.

Our goals are to help to eliminate health disparities and improve the equity, access, quality of life and medical care services for patients and the community they live in. While our focus base is Northern California, Physicians Medical Forum’s network is nationwide and it’s programs and initiatives impact medical education, pipeline programs and healthcare policy, equity and delivery throughout the country.
