Who Should Apply?
The Doctors On Board Program and Community Health Internship is an innovative and exciting opportunity for African American/Black, Native American, and underrepresented minority (URM) students who want to become medical doctors. Students who are in high school, pre-med, college/university/gap year, community college students and post-baccalaureate students are encouraged to apply.

Notification of Acceptance in the Doctors On Board Program
PMF will email a confirmation only to those students accepted into the program. Please also remember to check your email spam/junk and your voicemail. - NOTE: ONLY STUDENTS ACCEPTED INTO THE PROGRAM WILL BE NOTIFIED.
- IMPORTANT: STUDENTS MUST REPLY IMMEDIATELY TO THE EMAIL CONFIRMING THEIR ATTENDANCE. STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED INTO THE PROGRAM UNTIL PMF RECEIVES THIS EMAIL CONFIRMATION. Thereafter, all future communications and next steps will be sent to students via email. Students should check their email frequently and follow-up promptly as indicated.
- NOTE: PMF may contact you for additional information. Please list only emails that you check or cell/telephone numbers that you will answer and/or listen to voicemail messages and return calls. If you do not answer or return emails/calls promptly you may not be accepted into the program.
- Please note: This program is designed for students who want to be medical become doctors. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept applications from students interested in other healthcare fields.

Parents/Family of Future Doctors Workshop
Each student accepted into the program can have maximum of 2 family members attend this workshop. Must be 21 years are older to attend.
Upon receiving your confirmation of acceptance as a student to the Doctors On Board Program and Community Health Internship, you will receive an additional email for your parents/guardians to register for the Workshop for Parents/Family of Future Doctors.
